- From Deep in The Heart of Texas
- I have been crafting and creating all of my life, and I love all forms of art. I started winning awards for my art in 3rd grade, and was an art and architecture major in college. My husband and I own a fine cabinetry and millwork business, and I designed interiors for multi-million dollar estate homes for many years. Our kitchen and furniture designs have been featured in many books and publications, including Designed In Texas, Veranda & Southern Living. We have also won countless awards for superior design and execution.
I went 100 to none for many years with family and career, when my life was turned upside down by Lyme disease. For anyone who wants to debate if chronic Lyme exists, I'm here to say not only does it exist, it will try to take everything you have. Well, Lyme...you could not take this warriors soul. For my family healthy, conscious living is a both a battle and a choice. Today, it is one day at a time, with good and bad mixed in. I have a deep faith in God and His divine plan for our lives.
I am interested in sewing, painting, embroidery, cooking, upcycling, and trying to live a simple life in the land of excess.
